Knob Creek Masonic Lodge

Knob Creek Masonic Lodge is a fraternal organization older than the city of Temple. Originally chartered as Little River Lodge #401 by the Grand Lodge of Texas in 1875, Knob Creek Masonic Lodge moved to its present location in 1906 after a series of moves from Little River to the new railroad boom-town of Temple. As Temple and the Lodge grew together, the brethren of Knob Creek came together to build a new, purpose built facility in 1904, and the building was dedicated for Masonic purposes in 1906.

Today, Knob Creek celebrates over 140 years of Central Texas heritage with programs focusing on historical and symbolic aspects of Freemasonry, regular involvement in our community, and generations of community leaders among our membership.
